Ride Different

The path to real progress is not easy to find and follow. Even getting three people to agree on what progress is can be frustrating and disheartening. Moving forward begins with showing those three people (and millions and billions of others) that the very things that make us all different are in fact the things we have in common: we are much more like each other than not. Today, that means battling the people and organizations that seem to live and thrive to amplify our differences until we cannot see past them. It promises to be a long and difficult struggle - sometimes one needs to simply pause and look at a sunset or play a silly game (see sidebar). The value of "downtime" is not to be underestimated.

Frogstone PAD is directly affiliated with the Frogstone site mentioned below. The Frogstone Grill just east of Vancouver British Columbia is a wholly separate entity, which does in fact offer very fine fare.

You call yourself a software designer and you have a bug on your page?

Fair enough. A better way to describe me, so far, is 'learning'. But this dragonfly-like creature was seen resting on a cable in the back yard, diving off from time to time to dine on passing gnats. Since its diet, bugs, is like a programmer's, and it looks cool and is fun to watch, why not?

Stray Thoughts

In the search for intelligent life in the universe, is it not somehow telling that all the equipment points away from earth?

Given all the damage that motor vehicles can do to trees, pedestrians, bicyclists and other vehicles, why do they put the airbags on the inside?
